What’s the difference between SRT and VTT?

Both are plain-text caption formats. SRT is the classic format accepted by virtually every video editor and player; VTT is the web standard used by HTML5 players. Puliqo offers both.

Can I download auto-generated captions?

Yes. If the uploader didn’t add manual captions, Puliqo falls back to YouTube’s automatic speech-recognition track, clearly labeled as auto-generated.

Can I get subtitles in a different language than the video?

If the video offers translated caption tracks, they’ll appear in the language list. Puliqo downloads what YouTube provides for that video.

Do I get the video too?

This tool grabs only the caption file. If you want the video with captions, download both — the SRT file plays alongside the MP4 in players like VLC automatically when the filenames match.
