Under the hood it runs on yt-dlp, the open-source engine that supports 1,800+ sites, paired with FFmpeg for format conversion, trimming and GIF rendering. The whole project — frontend, backend, and this page — is open source.
There is no account system, no premium tier and no file storage: every download streams through the server and is deleted the instant it finishes. Nothing about your usage is sold or tracked.
